I am in France!! It’s beautiful, but I’m sick. I’m hoping this ends soon.
Also, my host family doesn’t understand what vegetarian means. Example: Today, I was served a soup made with chicken broth and a cheese and butter sandwich. Cheese and butter.

Currently 7:20am. I’ve been awake since 6am. Why? I’m in Queens, New York for my flight to France today! The problem: my flight is actually tonight. I guess now I have the whole day to explore Manhattan.
Here’s a snapshot of the lovely hotel. I just love air conditioning units right in the middle of my windows.

Ten inches gone to Locks of Love!

Ten inches gone to Locks of Love!

Today was (finally) haircut day! I decided to take a tip from my 3-year-old self and get some old school bangs.

In other news, Alec donated 10 inches of hair to Locks of Love!!! (Pictures coming soon).

Love, Josie

Today was gross and rainy: a perfect day for guerrilla Bikram yoga in Washington, D.C.!

Also, my father is the greatest.

Love to everyone on this rainy (but beautiful) day :)

hey josie! was it kayla/erica that peer pressured you into getting one of these? cause if so... they did the same to me haha. hope everything is going well with you!

Haha, yes it was. Mostly Kayla. But I wanted to be able to see/comment on stuff to do with her project, so I got one :) It’s a little confusing, but I like it.

Everything’s pretty great. I could do with some cooler weather right now, but I’m happy to be home hanging out with people and not doing homework.

How have you been? I hope you’re having a great summer!

This project was born from the creativity of my amazing and talented friend, Kayla.

I have to admit, when I was asked to write down how I identify in terms of gender and/or sexual orientation, I got inexplicably nervous. I try to stay away from labels (honestly because most of the time I don’t understand what they mean), and having to confront them really freaked me out. I can’t explain it. But I really learned a lot from this project, and every time I watch (and rewatch) the final product, I feel something new.

In short: This is awesome. Watch it.

Confusion.

I really don’t understand how Tumblr works, but I like it.

Now I think I know how adults on Facebook feel.
